NYC Week In Review: FoxNation, Cynopsis Awards, Partners & Prospects Meetings

A week for the books! Sportsdigita’s CEO & Founder Angelina Lawton and EVP of Business Development Christy Grady took New York by storm last week. From FoxNation appearances to meetings with the New York Yankees we are grateful for such an energizing week.

Kicking off the week Angelina was asked to participate in the taping of a pilot panel segment for FoxNation among Co-Host Brian Kilmeade, former NHL player Kevin Weekes, and Radio Talk Show Host Rich “Big Daddy” Salgado. From the hottest topics in the NHL and NFL to the future of jersey patch partnerships, they covered the biggest stories in sports and had a lot of fun along the way.

Cynopsis Top Women in Sports, Tech, and Entertainment Awards Gala

Monday evening gathered some of the most inspiring, brilliant women in the nation at the Cynopsis Top Women in Sports, Tech, and Entertainment Awards gala at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. It was the inaugural night for the awards, which were handed out to more than 100 deserving women across every facet of the media industry – including TV, digital, tech, esports, sports and advertising. Our CEO, Angelina Lawton was honored for her spot in the Top Women in Sports-Centric Brands category. It was a wonderful evening with best and brightest minds gathering to celebrate and empower women.

Partner and Prospect Visits

While in the big apple, we had the pleasure of visiting our iconic MLB partners the New York Yankees to discuss the growth of our partnership and their 7 Digidecks currently in use with our organization. The Yankees are the perfect example of how Digideck is an organization-wide solution for departments across the entire franchise. From Ticketing to Sponsorship and more, the Yankees bring their stories to life through rich multimedia, powerful infographics, and 360 degree panorama views. 

Prospective partners held a strong theme throughout the week as well as we spoke with executives at the NHL, NFL, Valence Media, and more.
